The Charisma requirement is based on party-total. Having 10 INT is a luxury and many players feel it's unnecessary but if you want to get your skills up fast without having to farm XP, then get 10 INT.Ĭharisma - In Wasteland 2, some recruitable NPCs require a certain amount of Charisma before they will join you but they are rare and usually not that special. So IMHO either go with 4 INT, or all the way with 10 INT. Notice that 4 INT gives you 3, but you need 8 (+4) to get 4 skillpoints, then another +2 gives you 5 skillpoints. 4 gives you 3, 8 gives you 4 and 10 gives you 5. Intelligence - Determines how many skillpoints you get each time you level up. Speed - Affects your movement speed and evasion chance, important stat for melee. 2-4 Strength is sufficient for most characters. Strength - Heavy armour and certain weapons have a strength requirement but right now heavy armour is a bit of a shady deal as it comes with movement penalties and aren't that much better than light armour which does not require Strength. Increasing CI every point above 10 increases your number of turns by 10% so a CI 20 combatant will have twice as many turns as a CI 10 combatant. If you want to own in combat, have CI at around 12-15, higher if possible. With high CI, you can take more turns than the enemy and with low CI you take fewer. Your party members and enemy combatants do not each take a turn fairly. CI determines when in the game's queue-based combat system your party members will act and how often they are reinserted back into the queue. Luck - A passive stat that is supposed to affect loot tables and all sorts of stuff from critical hits to critical skill fails to gun jams, extra AP and random encounters.Īwareness - Affects Combat Initiative (CI) among other things. This means ideally you want your Coordination in even numbers and the sum of your Strength/Speed/Intelligence divisible by 4. Critically, the formula rounds down any fractions. The game does explain what CLASSIC is about so the below is a selection of tips about them and hopefully aids in your character creation.Ĭoordination - Action Points (AP) are derived from a formula: AP = 3 + (Coordination/2) + ((Strength + Intelligence + Speed)/4). Those familiar with the Fallout system SPECIAL will see the similarities. Wasteland 2 uses a system called CLASSIC, which stands for Coordination, Luck, Awareness, Strength, Speed, Intelligence and Charisma. If you want to Platinum this game in only 1 playthrough, then you must use this save system liberally at critical points in the story. #Wasteland 2 red button achievement manual#Thankfully Wasteland 2 has a save anywhere system, complete with 12 manual saves, an auto-save and 3 rotating quick saves. choosing 1 side and therefore 1 trophy, prevents you from getting another trophy.
